This week, we learned about different types of weather and focused on the letter F. During circle time, we read about different types of weather, learned about where rain and snow come from, and conducted a science experiment where we made a cloud in a bottle. During center time, we made weather forecasters for at home, sorted clothes for hot and cold weather, matched lower case storm clouds to uppercase letter umbrellas, made rain at the water table, played with "snow," had cloud races, and much more!

Next week, we will begin our Thanksgiving theme and focus on the letter E. We will also have music class with Ms. Janet on Wednesday!
Important Dates/Reminders:
Cold Weather Attire: It looks like colder weather is here to stay :(. Please remember to label all hats, gloves, jackets, etc. since many students have the same or similar cold weather gear. We go outside as long as the wind chill is above 0 and it is not raining, so it is important to send cold weather gear every day as the weather can change quickly!
Picture Retakes: If you would like your child's picture retaken, please let me know and send in your child's picture proof. Picture retakes will be held on Wednesday, November 15th. To order pictures, please follow the instructions on your child's picture proof flier.
Thanksgiving Break: WECC is closed Wednesday, November 22 through Friday, November 24 for Thanksgiving Break. Classes will resume on Monday, November 27.
Have a great weekend!
