2/11 Classroom Update!
This week, we had so much fun learning about the letter V, talking about friendship, and engaging in Valentine's Day themed activities. We loved sharing our homemade class valentines, and everyone's hearts are now on display in the hallway for the school community to enjoy. During centers, we practiced our cutting skills by completing a Valentine's Day Rhyming activity, made Valentines for loved ones, played a Valentine's Day "I Spy" game, counted and sorted conversation hearts by color, wrote about people we loved, and painted flowers in letter v vases for our letter of the week alphabet books!
Next week, we will continue to talk about being a good friend and focus on the letter X. We will make xylophones for our alphabet books, color pictures with "X" sound in them, write about friendship, and go on a write the room scavenger hunt for things with the letter X.
