3/13 Classroom Update

This week, we learned about colors and the rainbow in anticipation of St. Patrick's Day next week! We learned why rainbows occur and made a rainbow in our classroom using a flashlight and prism. We also worked together to make a liquid rainbow where different colored liquids floated on top of each other to make a rainbow. We learned how red, blue, and yellow are primary colors, and we experimented with mixing them to create new colors. Here are some picture highlights from our week in preschool:

We searched for gold coins in rainbow rice and matched the uppercase letters on the gold coins to their lowercase letters!

Important Dates/Reminders:

Coronavirus Closure: WECC and EGRPS will be closed until April 6th to combat the spread of coronavirus cases.

Spring Break: There will  be no preschool classes from Friday, April 3rd through Monday, April  13th for Spring Break. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 14th.

Sensory Saturday: Join us for Sensory Saturday on April 25th from 9-11 am! Wear clothes to get messy in to enjoy fun, sensory activities and to eat a pancake breakfast. Please sign-up near the tablets in the lobby so we can anticipate how many people will be there!
