8/28 Classroom Update

We had such a great first week of school! It fills my heart to see our classroom full of smiling faces again, and I am so excited for all the fun this year will bring! Our classroom blog serves many purposes throughout the school year. I usually update the blog every Friday and send out an email link to parents each time it is updated. I use the blog as a tool to share what we are working on in class, as well as to share pictures of us in action in class! It's so fun to be able to see all our preschoolers hard at work and play! At the end of each blog post, I will also post important upcoming dates and reminders. This week, I sent home a permission slip to post your child's picture participating in classroom activities on our classroom blog. I will never post names or any other personal information. Please return this form and the Parent Questionnaire to me at your earliest convenience.

This week, we spent the majority of our time together getting to know each other and learning about our classroom. We explored many of the new toys in our room, as well as learned how to use many of our classroom supplies! We will also spend a lot of time during the first few weeks reviewing healthy habits at school and at home! Here is a peek inside our classroom:

I appreciate everyone being so diligent about filling out the WECC Symptom Checker and being patient as we figure out new routines this year.  I have printed a QR code for the WECC Symptom Checker and placed it in our classroom window just in case you ever forget and need to access it from your phone last minute. If you need help using the QR code to access the QR code, just let me know and I can show you how it works!

Important Dates, Reminders, & Resources:

Labor Day: WECC will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

Picture Day: Picture Day will be Monday, October 12th for the 5's class and Tuesday, October 13th for the 3's class. Picture Retakes will be held on Wednesday, November 4th.
