Thank you so very much for sharing your child with me and for such a wonderful year. I truly adore all our preschoolers and will cherish so many wonderful memories from this year. We had a great year full of laughter, learning, playing, hard work and fun experiences. Despite the ongoing challenges due to the pandemic, I am so grateful that we were able to provide a safe and fun learning environment for all of our preschool friends. I hope to see everyone around town and I can't wait to hear about all the amazing things our preschoolers (and now some kindergarteners!) will accomplish in the future! I will miss everyone, but I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing summer!
This week, we had so much fun learning and playing outside! On Tuesday, we built syllable towers for summer words, drew ourselves as graduates, and created some fun kindergarten crafts. We also worked together to make bouncing bubbles and tested them out in the classroom to see what they would and would not bounce off of. We finished the day relaxing outside with some of our favorite books and eating watermelon! On Wednesday, we had the best time playing field day games - we bowled, hula hooped, played with the parachute, completed an obstacle course in dinosaur feet, played musical instruments, blew bubbles, played soccer, and played a ball toss game. We also enjoyed popsicles in the shade to cool down! On Thursday, we reminisced over some of our favorite moments from the year before celebrating our accomplishments! We loved having our families join us during the Summer Send-off and to celebrate a wonderful year together! Here are some picture highlights of our last week in 5's:
