4/27 Classroom Update

Welcome to the world Hazel Louise! Ms. Carly and her husband welcomed Hazel Louise Kaloper on Tuesday April 24th at 10:35 pm weighing 7 lb. 7 oz. Mom, dad, and baby are all home and doing well! For the remainder of the school year, Mrs. Sarah Adloff will be filling in for Ms. Carly on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Mrs. Sarah is wonderful and we are so lucky to have her!

This week, we learned about what living things need and began our study of plants! We started an experiment to see what plants need to survive and will continue to observe our growing seeds over the next few weeks. We also planted radish seeds that we hope to see growing soon! We learned about the parts of a plant, the important job each part does, and the life cycle of a plant. Here are some picture highlights from the week:

Sorting living and non-living things!

Playing in our garden table!

Planting flowers by number!

Gardeners at work!

Planting and watering our radish seeds!
