3/11 Classroom Update

This week, we had so much learning about ocean animals and the letter O. We made the letter O into an octopus for our alphabet books, made ocean animals out of playdough, clapped out the number of syllables in ocean words, marble painted seahorses, and visited a water table filled with ocean animals. This week, we also introduced and practiced Three Star Coloring. Here are the components of Three Star Coloring:

Here are some of the great stories we read about Ocean animals this week:

Next week, we will be learning about the letter Q and participating in St. Patrick's day themed centers. We will build leprechaun traps to see if we are lucky enough to catch a leprechaun, hunt for gold at the end of a rainbow, create shamrock paintings using Q-tips, and much more! We will also finish our seahorse project that we started this week by learning to tie knots! I'm looking forward to another great week!
