This week, we had so much fun learning about apples and the life cycle of an apple tree. The highlight of our week was definitely our field trip to Schwallier's Country basket where we got to learn more about apples, try a delicious donut and apple cider, feed baby goats, go down the big slide and pick an apple and pumpkin. Thank you so very much to all of our drivers who helped out on the field trip - we wouldn't be able to go and have such a wonderful experience without you! Important Dates/Reminders:
Picture Day: Picture day is this coming Tuesday, October 9th! About a week or two after pictures, we will send home a proof to view and order photos. Picture retake day will be Wednesday, November 14th.
Halloween Party: Join us for a Halloween Party on Wednesday, October 31 from 2:15-3:00 pm. Costumes are encouraged :) There will be a short parade (weather permitting), then we will go back to the classroom for some Halloween fun! If you would like to help out with our party, please sign up here.
No Preschool Classes 10/26: There are no preschool classes on Friday October 26th.
Thanksgiving Break: There is no school November 21-23 for Thanksgiving break. Classes will resume on Monday, November 26th.
Parent Teacher Conferences: Save the date for preschool conferences on Tuesday, December 11th. A link to sign up will be sent at a later date!
