4/22 Classroom Update!

This week, we learned all about the letter I and focused on the story "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." We sequenced the story events, learned all about the life cycle of a butterfly, painted our own beautiful butterflies, matched butterfly wings, completed caterpillar patterns, and much more! We also learned what makes something an insect versus not an insect, and talked about spiders. Here are some of the great stories this week:

Next week, we will focus on the letter T and the story "The Tiny Seed." We will discuss what plants need to survive, learn about the life cycle of a plant, and plant sunflowers.

Hearing/Vision Screenings: Hearing and vision screenings will be performed on Tuesday, April 26th from 10-11 am and 1-2 pm. Make-ups for absent students will occur on Monday, May 16th.
